Will you notify me if your Privacy Policy changes?

We reserve the right to revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. If there is a change to our usage practices that affects your Personal Information, we will notify you of the relevant changes by email or by posting a notice on the QOOP Legal Notices Page. When QOOP sends or posts a Privacy Policy change notice, you will need to review the new Privacy Policy features carefully so you understand our procedures and practices. Any changes to this Privacy Policy are effective immediately upon the posting of such changes. Please be advised that our rights to use your Personal Information will be based on the Privacy Policy in effect at the time of any such use.

What, when, and how we deal with the information we collect.

The Personal Information we collect is used to identify you, including your name, address, email, phone number, and financial information. Personal Information is collected when you sign up as a content partner or development partner, upload your content, or purchase a product through the QOOP Services or when you visit any of the SITES. For example, if you sign up for the QOOPSearch newsletter, we will collect your email address. We also collect your communications with QOOP with respect to QOOP and QOOP Services. Your Personal Information is used for our internal purposes to improve and personalize QOOP and QOOP Services for you and to provide excellent partner and customer support.

Additionally, we collect certain non-personal default information customarily logged by web server software. Such information may include your originating IP address, the date and time of your visit, your browser type, the previous site you visited, the content you upload and review and products you order, and the pages and images requested. Non-personal information is used to maintain, evaluate, and improve QOOP and QOOP Services.

How secure is my information?

We work to protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information you input. We use commercially reasonable efforts to protect your Personal Information from disclosure or unauthorized access. It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your password and to your computer. Be sure to sign off when finished if you are using a shared computer. QOOP is not liable for disclosure of data due to errors in transmission, unauthorized access or acts by third parties, or omissions or acts beyond QOOP's reasonable control.

How will your information be shared with other parties?

Generally, QOOP will not provide your Personal Information to any third parties except as reasonably necessary in the performance of the QOOP Services or otherwise in order to operate our business. We may use third parties to maintain QOOP or QOOP Services, such as payment services, product production, printing, fulfillment and other operations. For example, we will provide your shipping information when we ship products to you with a courier. We use commercially reasonable efforts to prevent such third parties from using or disclosing your Personal Information for any reason other than the service they are providing in connection with the QOOP Services. We may provide your name, mailing address and email address to our content partners, application partners and website link partners for purchase reporting, internal record keeping, product shipments, or to satisfy any of your opt-in marketing choices. Our Partner Agreements (Content Partner Agreement and Developer Partner Agreement) require that the partner not use or disclose your information for any other purpose. However, we cannot and do not guarantee that such third parties and partners will not use or disclose your Personal Information. If QOOP is acquired, merged with another entity, or if substantially all of our assets are acquired for any reason, we may disclose your Personal Information to any successor-in-interest of QOOP. Additionally, we may disclose your Personal Information in the case of an emergency or as required or permitted by law, or to protect or enforce our rights or the rights of a third party. For example, if a third party alleges that you have infringed their intellectual property rights, we may disclose your Personal Information as it relates to such allegations. We may also provide your Personal Information to other companies or organizations for credit fraud protection and risk reduction.
